Itinerary
Day 1. Caracas.
Overnight by the airport, no dinner included.
Day 2.3.4.5 Angel Falls Expedition
Flight to Canaima N.P on Day 2 early in the morning.
All meals (except Breakfast on Day 2/ Lunch and Dinner on Day 5). English speaking guide.
Boat trip onto Canaima lagoon and hike to Sapo Falls.
River expedition to the base of Angel Falls.
Accommodation in hammocks in front of Angel Falls for one (1) night + beds for two (2) night at local lodge
Flight out of Canaima N.P on Day 5. No lunch, no dinner included.

Day 5. Drive to Choroni in Henri Pittier National Park. Overnight at local standard posada.
Day 6. Choroni.
Leisure day to relax in one of the most spectacular beaches of Venezuela, Playa Grande.
Lunch and dinner not included.
Overnight at local standard posada.
Day 7. Choroni- Llanos
Overlanding tour to the Venezuelan Llanos with a few stops along the way.
Afternoon wildlife observation, Overnight at basic hotel in the Llanos.
Day 8. Llanos- Hato El Cedral
Breakfast. Wildlife observation tours in the morning and afternoon. (By truck, foot and boat)
Lunch and dinner included.
Day 9. Hato El Cedral – Andes- Paramo
Breakfast. Morning tour in El Cedral and drive to the Andes.
Overnight at local posada with dinner included.
Day 10. Sierra Nevada National Park
Breakfast. 10 Kms Hike in Sierra Nevada National Park to Laguna La Mucuy at 4100 meters above the sea level.
Picnic lunch. Drive to Merida city and Overnight at standard posada, no dinner included.
Day 11. Merida.
Breakfast. Early morning to enjoy a Humming birds feeding show.
Relaxation day in the city. Overnight at standard posada, no lunch, no dinner included.
Day 12 Merida – Caracas
Drive to the airport and fly to Caracas.
End of tour.

This was the best seller tour when Merida received many backpackers in the 90's and early 2000 before the Venezuela's collapse. Since I enjoy giving my clients the opportunity to experience authentic and fun experiences I decided to include it again in the catalog under this "tours with departure dates" formula.
January- May will be just perfect, almost guaranteeing the infamous Anaconda and seeing plenty of Wildlife when the dry season is on.
