Join this exciting 8 days combination starting in the tallest waterfall of the World and Discover the amazing Catatumbo Lightning. This journey is a perfect blending of nature, wildlife, culture and adventure going from the East to the West of Venezuela in a very active, authentic and photogenic expedition.

Day 1. Caracas – Mérida- Catatumbo.
Tour departs from El Vigía. Lunch en route to Maracaibo depression with cattle, plantain and fruit farms. Wildlife adventure starts with a 5km boat trip through flooded forest in Cienagas de Juan Manuel National Park. Overnight at a local shelter in a hammock /stilt house over the Maracaibo Lake.
Day 2. Catatumbo
Following breakfast, we will take a boat ride further into the lake to observe the local fishermen in action. This region is known for its blue crabs, which are a significant export. The boat will then return to the pier, allowing for more wildlife observation.
Overnight at a local shelter in a hammock /stilt house over the Maracaibo Lake.
Day 3. Catatumbo- Caracas
After breakfast we set off to return to EL Vigia.
Day 4. 5.6.7.8 Angel Falls Expedition
Flight to Canaima National Park on Day 4.
All meals (except Breakfast & Lunch on Day 4/ Lunch & Dinner on Day 8). English speaking guide.
Boat trip onto Canaima lagoon and hike to Sapo Falls.
River expedition to the base of Angel Falls.
Accommodation in hammocks in front of Angel Falls and Ahonda Canyon for two (3) nights + beds for one (1) night at you basic lodge
Flight out of Canaima National Park on Day 8. No lunch included.
End of services.
