Itinerary
Day 1. Caracas-Canaima N.P
Embark on an unforgettable journey from Caracas to Canaima National Park. Start by exploring Canaima Lagoon, where you’ll marvel at stunning waterfalls like Hacha, Wadaima, Ucaima, and Golondrina. Venture into the jungle to visit Sapo Falls, take a canoe ride to Auyan Tepui, and admire the majestic Angel Falls. End the day with dinner and a restful sleep in a hammock, surrounded by the soothing sounds of nature. (D)
Wake up to your first glimpse of Angel Falls, illuminated by the morning sun reflecting off Auyan Tepui. After breakfast, prepare for an adventurous day. Hike through the jungle for about an hour (4.1 km) to the Laime viewpoint, then descend to the rock pools near the base of the waterfall. If you’re lucky, you may even get to swim in the fresh waters of Angel Falls. Return to base camp for lunch, relax while enjoying the serene jungle sunset, and conclude the day with dinner. Sleep in hammocks at Ahonda Canyon. (All meals)
Day 3. Canaima Lagoon- Ciudad Bolivar
Begin the day with breakfast and coffee at the campsite, taking in breathtaking morning views of Auyan Tepui before heading down the Carrao river back to Canaima Lagoon, where you’ll visit Hacha or Sapo Falls and experience the incredible force of the cascade as you walk beneath it. Fly to Ciudad Bolívar, a city founded in 1576, to explore its historic district and enjoy a stunning sunset over the Orinoco River with views of the Angostura Bridge.
Spend the night at a local posada. (All meals)
Day 4. Ciudad Bolivar- Caracas
Travel to Puerto Ordaz for a flight back to Caracas. Enjoy a guided tour of Caracas, including visits to the historic downtown area and Simon Bolivar Square. Discover the vibrant San Agustin neighborhood, gaining insights into life in this resilient community. End the day by observing the roosting of Yellow and Blue Macaws, the iconic birds of Caracas. Overnight in Caracas. (No meals)
Day 5. Caracas- Chuao- Corpus Christi
Start with an early drive (160kms/ 4hours) to Choroní, followed by a 30-minute boat ride to Chuao. Visit the renowned cocoa plantation to learn about the complete chocolate-making process. Enjoy a delicious lunch before immersing yourself in the vibrant Corpus Christi Celebration, held in the main square and church after 3 PM. Experience this unique annual religious festivity firsthand, engaging with the local traditions and culture. Overnight at a simple local posada. (L,D)
Day 6 .Chuao- Choroni
We will enjoy a visit to the pristine beaches of Cepe and Puerto Escondido and get delighted by a BBQ lunch by the beach before taking a boat ride back to Choroní. Spend the afternoon exploring the colorful fishing village, soaking in its charm and relaxed vibe. Overnight at local posada. (B, L)
Day 7 .Choroni- Caracas
Enjoy breakfast and a leisurely morning to relax and explore. Depart for Caracas around 2 PM, arriving by approximately 7 PM. (B) End of tour.

Keep in mind that changes in the schedule may occur due to weather conditions, so it's important to plan your trip with some flexibility. Angel Falls:
Suitable for all. The most challenging part is the hike to the base of Salto Ángel: 4 km each way, with a maximum incline of around 45 degrees.
Not recommended for children under 5.
The hike to the base of Salto Ángel is about 60% flat and 40% uphill, covering 4.1 km each way. Expect over 90% humidity, with sandy, root-laden, rocky trails, and numerous puddles.
If you prefer not to do the hike, you can rest at the base camp with full views of Salto Ángel.

Choroni & Chuao:
Suitable for all, very easy.
We recommend NOT bringing hard-shell suitcases. Handling them can be very difficult and may incur additional costs at your expense.
Your luggage should not exceed 15 kg. Extra weight may incur extra charges, and airlines cannot guarantee transporting additional weight on the same day.
Take a photo of your luggage and label it for identification.
You are solely responsible for your personal belongings. If you forget something at any camp, waterfall, or natural location, retrieving it may require additional costs for fuel, logistics, personnel, etc., which will be exclusively covered by you in cash and on-site.
Angel Falls: Ideal from June to December.
During the dry season, it’s still possible to reach Salto Ángel with more effort, but we can’t guarantee access as we prioritize your safety and cannot control natural conditions.
Orinoco Delta: Excellent year-round.

Dry Season at Angel Falls
Our dry season usually spans late January to early June, though weather can vary. If extreme drought makes river access to Angel Falls impossible, we will issue a US$100 refund. If you’re interested in a flyover, we can help arrange the best price and experience.
Due to the remote area, we lack precise weather data and rely on reports from other guides and the Canaima National Park office. Typically, weather updates are only available as you approach the Churún River.
Your safety is our top priority. We will keep you informed of weather conditions and offer alternatives to ensure you have a memorable experience.
Weather at Angel Falls is unpredictable, with heat, sun, and rain potentially occurring all in one day, sometimes within minutes. Be prepared for all conditions and temperatures.
