Explore two of Venezuela’s most fascinating corners in an 8-day adventure filled with pristine jungle, waterfalls, indigenous communities, wildlife, and more. Start in Canaima National Park, visiting Angel Falls and marveling at the spectacular tepuis and their colorful waters. The Orinoco Delta impresses with its dense vegetation and wildlife, where Warao indigenous communities live in the heart of the wilderness.

Itinerary

Day 1. Caracas-Canaima N.P

Fly from Caracas to Canaima National Park for an unforgettable adventure. Explore Canaima Lagoon’s stunning waterfalls, trek through lush jungle to Sapo Falls, and canoe along rivers to Angel Falls. End the day with dinner and hammock relaxation amidst nature’s soothing sounds. (D)

Enjoy the first views of the falls with the sun bouncing on the walls of Auyan Tepui before a fueling breakfast to get ready for a great day. We will walk up through the jungle for about an hour (4.1kms) to the Laime viewpoint and then down to the rock pools near the base of the waterfall. Swim in Angel Falls’ freshwater, enjoy lunch at base camp, relax with a jungle sunset, dine, and sleep in hammocks.

Day 3. Angel Falls - Mayupa

After breakfast at the camp, enjoy the spectacular views of the falls with the sun light hitting the walls of Auyan Tepui. You will travel back down the river to Mayupa Savannah and start a hike to the top of Kuravaina Tepui for about 3 hours. We will enjoy a picnic lunch in Pozo Azul falls and relax looking at the iconic 3 tepuis Kuravaina, Kurun and Kusari. Overnight in hammocks. (All meals)

Day 4. Mayupa- Canaima Lagoon

After breakfast and coffee at the campsite while enjoying the awe-inspiring sight of Kuravaina, Kusari and Kurun Tepuis, we will take a river journey back to Canaima Lagoon where will check in at a local posada with bedrooms and private bathroom. (All meals)

Day 5. Canaima- Ciudad Bolivar

After breakfast and coffee at the camp you have a few hours free in Canaima Lagoon village before your final flight over the jungle to Puerto Ordaz or Ciudad Bolivar.   (B)

Day 6. Puerto Ordaz -Orinoco

Travel by road to Uracoa pier, then by boat to a jungle lodge along Orinoco tributaries. Spot pink dolphins, otters, monkeys, and visit Warao villages. Learn about edible plants, taste grubs, and relax before dinner by the river. (L,D) 

Day 7. Orinoco Delta

Morning brings Orinoco river navigation to spot diverse species: river dolphins, spectacled caimans, capuchin and red howler monkeys, hummingbirds, and kingfishers. Lunch at camp precedes a boat trip to Warao villages and palafitos, learning about Warao culture and daily life. Meet craftsmen and observe their work. Enjoy a hearty dinner with local drinks. Night tours available upon request for an extra fee. (All meals)

Day 8 .Orinoco – Puerto Ordaz

This morning you will be taken out to a quiet spot in the river to do some Piranha fishing and after lunch we travel by river one last time to Uracoa pier and drive up to Puerto Ordaz. End of tour
