Caracas City Tour

We will have a short visit to downtown, Simón Bolívar house, visit to Plaza el Venezolano (San Jacinto), Plaza Bolívar, Venezuelan typical lunch, scenery drive onto Cota 1000 motorway, Plaza Altamira and if time allows we can walk through the boulevard Pantheon “Panteón” located in Altagracia District and enjoy a long walk up north the city until we reach the newly renovated National Pantheon where the body of our liberator Simón Bolívar lies inside a spectacular high ceiling building.  We also visit Hugo Chavez Mausoleum in 23 de Enero neighbourhood which used to be one of the most dangerous ghettos of Venezuela.  We will enjoy the Caracas Street Art which is quite interesting and all over the city. We will also visit our “secret” dormitory of Macaws where you will see them from a very close distance. Our City tour starts by 9am and can end late by 9-10pm depending on the activities and places you want to visit.   We can also finish by midday. Sometimes we walk up to even 9 kilometers in the city, we adapt this experience to your needs and preferences.

Caracas is already famous worldwide for being the Capital City of the Macaws. On this 4 hours excursion we will take you to some to the best spots to observe the Blue and Yellow and Chesnut fronted MacawsYellow Crowned and Orange winged parrots.  
This tour is perfect early in the  morning and or late in the afternoon. We will be happy not only to show you these fascinating and colorful birds but also a few interesting sites of Caracas.

Visitors must be aware that Caracas remains one of the foremost rough cities in the world, with various as No Go for foreigner.  Kill counts of as numerous as 40 are not unprecedented on ends of the week, so working out caution and common sense – particularly at night – is basic to a safe visit.

The best time to visit Caracas is the dry season between December and April, when the rains are rare.
January and December, with an average high-temperature of 25°C (77°F), are the coldest months.
During the entire year, the rain falls for 316.8 days and collects up to 1992mm (78.43″) of precipitation.

Venezuela has only two seasons Summer and Winter (dry and rainy season). Our rainy season goes from May to November. The rest of the year is summer.
