10 Days
Day 1 Arrival in Caracas, Venezuela. (No meals)
Flight to Isla Margarita in the afternoon. Overnight at standard posada in Playa El Yaque.
Remarks: if you arrive at Isla Margarita we can start there too.
Day 2 Isla Margarita. (B)
Tour around the island visiting the most interesting sites like La Asuncion, Pampatar, Playa El Tirano fishermen village, Playa Parguito.
We will go exploring and stopping at local markets, villages, etc etc.
Day 3 Isla Margarita- Cumana (B, D)
Morning of leisure in Playa El Yaque.
Ferry by midday to Cumana. Drive to Mochima National Park and overnight at a local posada with dinner included.
Day 4. Mochima National Park- Guacharo Cave (B, L)
Early Dolphins observation tour and relaxing at one of the best beaches of Mochima National Park.
Drive to the mountains of Guacharo Cave National Park. Overnight at a standard centrally located hotel.
Day 5 Guacharo Cave- Orinoco Delta (D)
Visit to Guacharo Cave Natural Monument. Drive for 6 hours to the Orinoco Delta.
Night tour for spotting snakes and caimans. Overnight at rustic accommodation in beds + private bathroom at rustic lodge deep in the Orinoco Jungle.
Day 6.7 Orinoco Delta.
Piranha Fishing, Canoe ride onto the Orinoco River.
Wildlife observation and Photography activities.
Visit to a Warao indigenous community. Jungle walk.
Overnight at rustic accommodation in beds + private bathroom at rustic lodge deep in the Orinoco Jungle.
All meals and soft drinks included.
Day 8 Orinoco Delta- Maturin- Caracas (B)
Drive out to Maturin and fly to Caracas in the afternoon.
Overnight by the airport.
Day 8.9.10 Angel Falls Expedition
Flight to Canaima N.P on Day 8 early in the morning.
All meals (except Lunch and Dinner on Day 8 and Lunch Dinner on Day 10 ). English speaking guide.
Boat trip onto Canaima lagoon and hike to Sapo Falls.
River expedition to the base of Angel Falls.
Accommodation in hammocks in front of Angel Falls for one (2) nights + beds for one (1) night at local lodge
Flight out of Canaima N.P at about 1130am on Day 10. No lunch, no dinner included.
End of tour.

This is one of the most complete combinations in Venezuela.
It is not only the remarkable Angel Falls Expedition but the gems of Eastern Venezuela.
We will visit the swamps of the Orinoco Delta, land of the Warao indigenous people with great wildlife observation opportunities (River Dolphins, Red Howler Monkeys, Toucans, Macaws and much more) and unique landscapes. We will go up to the Mountains of Turimiquire Massif where we find the Guacharo Cave Natural Monument, coffee plantations and quite authentic farmers villages on the way to Mochima National Park, the perfect place to observe Dolphins and relax by the beach. We can either start or finish in Isla Margarita.

Angel Falls: May-November.
Orinoco Delta will never be a problem, it is great all year round. Weather is constrantly changing and rain has never been a big deal. Please contact us and let’s find the best option for you.

Angel Falls
Suitable for people of most ages who have a basic fitness level. Elevation gain of less than 800 meters.
Orinoco Delta: very easy. Longest hike 30 minutes in flat muddy terrain.
