Explore 3 of the most fascinating unknown places of Venezuela in a wonderful 16 days full of adventure, pristine rainforest, waterfalls, indigenous communities, wildlife and so much more  Start in Canaima National Park visiting Angel Falls and get amazed by the spectacular table top mountains & dense jungle around.  Roraima will really impress you and will demand effort to reach the top of The Lost World in our 6 days trek (we can make it in 7 days too). End your trip in the swamps of the Orinoco Delta surrounded by green and deep forest with interesting wildlife while the Waraos communities will show you how they live out in the middle of nowhere.


Day 1. Canaima Lagoon

The Angel Falls are located deeply inside Canaima National Park. Your tour begins with a flight from Caracas to the Canaima Lagoon area, from which you can see a group of four different cascades known as Hacha, Wadaima, Ucaima and Golondrina.
After a tasty lunch at a local indigenous village you will be taken across the lagoon and walk along the pink sand banks and up, through the jungle to the majestic Sapo Falls. From this point and on, you may swim in the lake before walking up through the jungle and behind the falls while enjoying a great scenery through a powerful water curtain. Dinner at the camp before going to sleep (beds) to the sound of crickets. Feel free to walk in the Pemon Community.

Day 2. Angel Falls

After breakfast, embark on a jungle trek followed by a motorized canoe ride up Carrao and Churún rivers to Angel Falls. Admire lush scenery and Tepuys during the 4-hour journey, enjoying a picnic lunch en route. Witness Angel Falls cascading 1km from Auyántepuy to Churún river at Devil’s Canyon. Hike to Laime viewpoint and rock pools near the falls. Weather permitting, swim in the freshwater. Sleep in comfy hammocks near the world’s tallest waterfall, guided by local Pemons for optimal rest.

Day 3. Angel Falls -Puerto Ordaz

After breakfast and coffee at the camp you will travel back down the river to the first camp where you will eat lunch before taking a final flight over the jungle to Puerto Ordaz.   At your arrival to Puerto Ordaz, our representative will meet you there and take you to a hotel by the airport. No dinner included.

Day 4. Gran Sabana- Santa Elena de Uairen

Breakfast and 700 kms drive to Santa Elena de Uairén with a few stops along the way. After we cross the misty dense jungle road of Sierra de Lema find the stunning Gran Sabana located in the Eastern sector of Canaima National Park with views of the Tepuys Valley, Kama Falls and its inmense Savannahs. Dinner and overnight at rustic camp with beds and private bathroom.

Day 5. Parai Tepui – Tek River

We will drive from Santa Elena de Uairen to Parai Tepuy to hike nearly 14 hours and reach the first base camp located at 1050 meters above the sea level. Our guide and porters will set up the camp for a nice dinner in the foothill of Roraima. (5 hours hiking, all meals).

Day 6. Tek River-Roraima base camp

Today we will hike 9kms to the base camp of Roraima located at 1850 meters above the sea level. Enjoy spectacular views of the walls of the mountain and enjoy a refreshing swim in the river nearby the camp. (about 5 hours hiking, all meals).

Day 7. Roraima base camp to the top!

We will have a steep hike for about 3 hours (1,5 kms) through the jungle as we reach the top of The Lost World (2800 masl). Leisure afternoon to enjoy the fascinating views of the surroundings with its interesting rock shapes as result of 2 Billion years of erosion. Our following 2 nights will be in tents in one of the top cavities of Roraima.

Day 8. Roraima Top

We will explore the top and reach the Crystal Valley where we find strange and beautiful quartz rocks, we will also see the Gran Sabana and Kukenan Tepui window enjoy a refreshing swim in the natural jacuzzi with red, sand and golden colors on its waters. We will relax and get ready for the descend of 7 hours.

Day 9. Roraima Top- Tek River camp

Today we will hike down 10,5 kms for about 7 hours to Tek river enjoying some of the last views of the walls of Roraima.

Day 10. Tek River – Santa Elena de Uairen

We will walk about 4 hours to Parai Tepuy where will be collected to get driven back to Santa Elena. Dinner and overnight in a comfortable posada with bedrooms and private bathroom.

Day 11. Santa Elena de Uairen- Ciudad Bolivar

We depart early in the morning and drive all the way back to Puerto Ordaz. Overnight at standard hotel in town, no dinner included.

Day 12. Ciudad Bolivar -Orinoco Delta

We journey by road to Uracoa pier, then by boat to our jungle lodge nestled in the lush rainforest along Orinoco river tributaries. Spot diverse flora and fauna from the comfort of your boat – water hyacinths, pink dolphins, giant river otters, anacondas, tortoises, and red howler monkeys. Witness Warao Indigenous villages with raised dwellings along riverbanks. Your Warao guide will introduce edible plants and optional juicy grubs tasting. Relax at camp before dinner, then savor the tranquil Orinoco river ambiance.

Day 13. Orinoco Delta

Morning brings Orinoco river navigation to spot diverse species: river dolphins, spectacled caimans, capuchin and red howler monkeys, hummingbirds, and kingfishers. Lunch at camp precedes a boat trip to Warao villages and palafitos, learning about Warao culture and daily life. Meet craftsmen and observe their work. Enjoy a hearty dinner with local drinks. Night tours available upon request for an extra fee.

Day 14. Orinoco Delta – Puerto Ordaz

This morning you will be taken out to a quiet spot in the river to do some Piranha fishing and after lunch we travel by river one last time to Uracoa pier and drive up to Puerto Ordaz.

Angel Falls 
Suitable for people of most ages who have a basic fitness level. Elevation gain of less than 800 meters.

Roraima:  About 50 kilometers hike in total. You must be in good conditions! it is not impossible and there are always ways to make it easier for you. You can hire a porter and simply have our water and camera in your hands.
