Angel Falls Isla Margarita is one of the best combinations we can offer! Go deep into the heart of Canaima National Park to the bottom of the tallest waterfall of the World and finish in the Caribbean having a refreshing Pina Colada by the beaches of Margarita Island in only 7 days. Waterfalls, Tepuys, jungle, adventure, culture, warm beaches, sunsets… does it sound like a plan for you?
Itinerary
Day 1. Canaima National Park
Fly from Caracas to Canaima National Park for an adventure exploring Canaima Lagoon’s waterfalls and trekking to Sapo Falls. Canoe along rivers for breathtaking views of Auyan Tepui and Salto Angel. End your day with dinner and hammock relaxation. (D)
Day 2. Angel Falls
At 7 am, marvel at Angel Falls glowing in the morning sun. Enjoy a hearty breakfast before trekking 4.1 km through the jungle to the Laime viewpoint. If water levels allow, descend to the rock pools near the waterfall’s base. Return to camp and relax, soaking in views of the falls and sunset. Spend the night in a cozy hammock, serenaded by jungle sounds. (All meals)
Day 3. Angel Falls- Mayupa
After breakfast and coffee at the camp, enjoy the spectacular views of the falls with the sun light hitting the walls of Auyan Tepui. You will travel back down the river to Mayupa Savannah and start a hike to the top of Kuravaina Tepui for about 3 hours. We will enjoy a picnic lunch in Pozo Azul falls and take a deserved rest looking at the iconic 3 tepuis Kuravaina, Kurun and Kusari. Overnight in hammocks. (All meals)
Day 4. Mayupa- Canaima lagoon
After breakfast and coffee at the campsite while enjoying the awe-inspiring sight of Tepuis, we will take a river journey back to Canaima Lagoon where will check in at a local posada with bedrooms and private bathroom. (All meals)
Day 5. Canaima- Caracas
After breakfast and coffee at the camp you have a few hours free in Canaima Lagoon village before your final flight over the jungle to Caracas to end of one of the most complete Angel Falls tours in Venezuela. No dinner included. End of service. (B)
Day 6. Caracas- Isla de Margarita
Our tour begins with a 50-minute flight from Caracas to Margarita Island. Upon arrival, you’ll be picked up at the airport and transferred to your hotel for check-in. You can choose to participate in one of the many activities the island offers or simply relax on the beach. Overnight stay is included, with no meals provided.
Day 7. Isla de Margarita- Caracas
After enjoying a hearty breakfast at the hotel, head out for an early morning stroll and feel free to join one of our exciting activities on the island. Flight back to Caracas late in the afternoon.

While we present a 7-day itinerary here, it can be shortened to 6 days or extended to 9-10 days if you wish to spend more time on the island. Please note that changes to the schedule may occur due to weather conditions and flight availability, so it's essential to plan your trip with some flexibility. In some cases, we can shorten your visit to Angel Falls by a day to get you to Margarita earlier. Our goal is to provide you with the best experience possible by offering a fully optimized itinerary, ensuring your trip to Venezuela becomes an unforgettable journey.

Unlike Isla Margarita, Salto Ángel does not have daily departures.
As you know, it is a complex expedition that requires prior planning.

Best time to visit Angel Falls: Ideal from June to December.
During the dry season, it’s still possible to reach Salto Ángel with more effort, but we can’t guarantee access as we prioritize your safety and cannot control natural conditions.

Best Time to Visit Isla Margarita
The ideal time to explore Margarita is during the dry season, from November to May. However, the islands boast sunny skies, calm waters, and pleasant temperatures year-round. Keep in mind that the dry season is peak tourist time, so booking accommodations and activities early is highly recommended.
If you prefer to avoid crowds, steer clear of Carnival, Easter Week, and the Christmas season. Isla de Margarita, another popular destination, remains a favorite among Venezuelans.
Local Transportation
Getting around is simple and stress-free. The island is small and ideal for exploring. You can rent a car, join a tour, or simply relax at a hotel with beach access. With so many options, there’s no chance of boredom!

Dry Season at Angel Falls
Our dry season usually spans late January to early June, though weather can vary. If extreme drought makes river access to Angel Falls impossible, we will issue a US$100 refund. If you’re interested in a flyover, we can help arrange the best price and experience.
Due to the remote area, we lack precise weather data and rely on reports from other guides and the Canaima National Park office. Typically, weather updates are only available as you approach the Churún River.
Your safety is our top priority. We will keep you informed of weather conditions and offer alternatives to ensure you have a memorable experience.
