O Mundo Perdido combina dois dos destinos de aventura mais emocionantes da Venezuela: o Salto Ángel e o Monte Roraima, em uma jornada de 12 dias repleta de trilhas, tepuis, cachoeiras, comunidades indígenas, natureza intocada e muito mais. Essa aventura acontece no Parque Nacional Canaima, onde você passará 4 dias explorando o Salto Ángel — a cachoeira mais alta do mundo, com 979 metros — antes de embarcar em uma incrível caminhada de 6 dias até o topo do Monte Roraima.

Itinerary

Day 1. Canaima Lagoon

Join us on an unforgettable journey from Caracas to Canaima National Park. Begin at Canaima Lagoon, marveling at waterfalls like Hacha, Wadaima, Ucaima, and Golondrina. Trek through the jungle to Sapo Falls, canoe to Auyan Tepui, and admire Angel Falls. Conclude the adventure with dinner and a peaceful hammock sleep, surrounded by nature’s calming sounds. (D)

Day 2. Angel Falls

Enjoy the first views of Angel Falls with the sun bouncing on the walls of Auyan Tepui before a fueling breakfast to get ready for a great day. We will walk up through the jungle for about an hour (4.1kms) to the Laime viewpoint and then down to the rock pools near the base of the waterfall. If you get lucky, you may swim in the freshwater of Angel Falls.
Return to base camp for lunch, relax while enjoying a jungle sunset, and dine before sleeping in hammocks. Your guide will demonstrate how to sleep comfortably, just like the local Pemons. (All meals) 

Day 3. Back to Canaima Lagoon

Start your day with breakfast and coffee at the campsite, enjoying stunning morning views of the falls. Then, canoe down the Churun and Carrao rivers to Canaima Lagoon. At day’s end, check into a basic posada with private bathrooms, freshen up, and enjoy dinner. Explore Canaima village, meet friendly locals, and shop for unique handicrafts. (All meals)

Day 4. Canaima Lagoon - Ciudad Bolivar

After breakfast and coffee at the camp you have a few hours free in Canaima Lagoon village before your final flight over the jungle to Puerto Ordaz or Ciudad Bolivar.   (B)

We will depart very early for a 700 kms drive to San Francisco de Yuruani with a few stops along the way. After we cross the misty dense jungle road of Sierra de Lema find the stunning Gran Sabana located in the Eastern sector of Canaima National Park with views of the Tepuis Valley, Kama Falls and its inmense Savannahs. Dinner and overnight at rustic camp with beds and private bathroom. ( No meals) 

Day 6. Parai Tepui – Tek River

We will drive from San Francisco de Yuruani to Parai Tepuy to hike nearly 14 hours and reach the first base camp located at 1050 meters above the sea level. Our guide and porters will set up the camp for a nice dinner in the foothill of Roraima. (5 hours hiking, all meals).

Day 7. Tek River-Base camp

Today we will hike 9kms to the base camp of located at 1850 meters above the sea level. Enjoy spectacular views of the walls of the mountain and enjoy a refreshing swim in the river nearby the camp. (about 5 hours hiking, all meals).

Day 8. Base camp- Top of Roraima

We will have a steep hike for about 3 hours (1,5 kms) through the jungle as we reach the top of the tepui (2800 masl). Leisure afternoon to enjoy the fascinating views of the surroundings with its interesting rock shapes as result of 2 Billion years of erosion. Our following 2 nights will be in tents in one of the top cavities of the mountain (All meals)

Day 9. Roraima Top

We will explore the top and reach the Crystal Valley where we find strange and beautiful quartz rocks, we will also see the Gran Sabana and Kukenan Tepui window enjoy a refreshing swim in the natural jacuzzi with red, sand and golden colors on its waters. We will relax and get ready for the descend of 7 hours. (All meals)

Day 10. Roraima Top- Tek River

Today we will hike down 10,5 kms for about 7 hours to Tek river enjoying some of the last views of the walls of Roraima. (All meals)

Day 11. Tek River – Yuruani

We will walk about 4 hours to Parai Tepuy where will be collected to get driven back to San Francisco de Yuruani. Overnight in a comfortable posada with bedrooms and private bathroom. (B)

Day 12. Yuruani- Puerto Ordaz

We depart early in the morning and drive all the way back to Puerto Ordaz.  (No meals)

Although we present a 12 day itinerary here, it could actually extend to 13-14 days.
